前记

    前记：

    西牛贺洲中的女儿国，是一个传言中被诅咒的国家，全国上下皆为女子，甚至连那猫儿狗儿，也尽是母畜，延续血脉皆靠一条名唤子母河中的水。

    国法规定，年登二十岁以上，方可去吃子母河中水。

    子母河真可谓是女儿国的母亲河。

    数千年来，女儿国就是靠得此河，才存活至今，没有被历史长河所湮灭。

    很久很久以后，女儿国连年干旱，三年内滴雨未下，国内人数骤减过半，好在苍天有眼，终是普降甘霖。正在国民们欢呼庆贺可以保住性命之时，她们发现，存在几千年的子母河竟有些干涸的迹象。

    大旱之前，子母河绵延千里，可大旱之后，仅剩方圆七八百里。

    且后来不管怎么下雨，子母河每年都会干涸数十里。

    女儿国内，人人悚惧。

    彼时在任的女儿国国王，名唤伊寻，她在祖宗牌位前立下誓言，定要找到方法，救下全国子民，且要让她们女儿国，子嗣绵长，永无后顾之忧。

    In　the　gentle　waves　of　Cambridge

    I　would　be　a　water　plant！

    That　pool　under　the　shade　of　elm　trees

    Holds　not　water　but　the　rainbow　from　the　sky；

    Shattered　to　pieces　among　the　duckweeds

    Is　the　sediment　of　a　rainbow－like　dream?

    To　seek　a　dream?　Just　to　pole　a　boat　upstream

    To　where　the　green　grass　is　more　verdant；

    Or　to　have　the　boat　fully　loaded　with　starlight

    And　sing　aloud　in　the　splendour　of　starlight.

    But　I　cannot　sing　aloud

    Quietness　is　my　farewell　music；

    Even　summer　insects　help　silence　for　me

    Silent　is　Cambridge　tonight！

    Very　quietly　I　take　my　leave

    As　quietly　as　I　came　here；

    Gently　I　flick　my　sleeves

    Not　even　a　wisp　of　cloud　will　I　bring　away
